When on the A515 Ashbourne to Buxton, turn off for Alstonefield nr. Newton House Hotel (approx 12 miles from Buxton and 6 miles from Ashbourne). Follow Alstonefield signs; keep right through village (Hulme End road). One and a half miles outside Alstonefield at first crossroads turn left signposted Wetton. The Farm is immediately on your right.

Gateham Grange nestles as the foot of Wetton Hill, set in peaceful scenic surroundings. Enjoy dale walks from the door, cycling, pony trekking, gliding and much more. There is fishing at Tittesworth Reservoir and sailing and water sports at Carsington Water. Many attractive country inns and hotels in the district serve a wide selection of meals. Hartington is 4 miles away with shops, tearooms and cheese factory (famous for its Stilton Cheese). Close by are the busy market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Leek. All within easy reach are Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Matlock Bath with cable car to the heights of Abraham, Buxton Spa town with Pavilion Gardens, Pooles Cavern and Opera House, also the leisure park at Alton Towers and much more. With so much to see many of our guests comment that a week is just not long enough!
